About

Chase Marrier is a Texas native with a true desire for basketball. He is an energetic, motivated, and passionate coach who enjoys helping basketball players achieve their maximum potential. Chase has been involved with basketball his entire life and is blessed to be able to coach and train players for a living.

Chase played collegiate basketball at Western Oklahoma State College from 2002-2004. He then had an opportunity to play basketball at the University of North Texas before graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and a Texas Teaching Certificate in 2008.

Chase's experience includes coaching competitive youth leagues, AAU, and skills training. He has had the privilege of coaching the Texas Express AAU Men's 17U Select Basketball Club and at Team Buckner Basketball Club. In addition, Chase has coached basketball at CFB-ISD for the past 15 years, most recently at Newman Smith High School under Head Coach, Percy Johnson.

Chase's coaching philosophy is simple, "Live life like you play the game." Many key qualities that generate success in life are the same characteristics that contribute to success in sports. He feels that encouraging his athletes to approach life and sports by the same guidelines will help them achieve true success and build important character traits. Chase firmly believes that any good coach can teach the fundamentals of the game--but only great coaches inspire and make a positive difference in their athletes' lives.

Chase is happily married to his amazing wife, Sasha, and they have three beautiful daughters, Sianna, Taytem, and Jaelyn.
